AirLink™ MP 880W GPS Intelligent Rugged Mobile Featuring Next Generation 3G HSUPA Technology and 802.11g
The AirLink™ MP 880W GPS modem provides in-vehicle data solutions while operating over next generation HSUPA networks with peak download data rates of 7.2 Mbps and peak uplink rates of 2.0 Mbps. To accommodate areas where such coverage is not yet available, the MP 880W GPS is backwards compatible to 1.8 Mbps HSDPA, 384 Kbps UMTS, as well as EDGE and GPRS. A GPS module and 4 digital & 4 analog input/output ports are also offered to allow for advanced tracking and alarms.
Now equipped with an 802.11 b/g WiFi chip, the MP880W allows for administrators to “cut the cord” between the peripheral device and the MP modem. This option increases flexibility and eliminates a point of equipment failure. Furthermore, the WiFi chip enables a mobile hotspot to be created around the vehicle. Enhanced WAP security (WEP, WPA and WPA2) ensure the WiFi cloud is secure.
Tough as nails, the MP features US Military and SAE specifications making it ideal for industries such as police, fire, rescue, transport, military, and utility field service.
